Virginie Le Baler & Michel-Ange Odi from Oui Immigration had the pleasure of attending the 2026 congress of the European Relocation Association (EuRA), which took place in Malta at the end of April 2026.
Originally founded in 1998 to promote professionally managed relocation and mobility services for companies with globally mobile employees, EuRA has grown into one of the key events of the global mobility industry in Europe, bringing together Relocation Management Companies, Destination Service Providers, immigration experts and mobility professionals from all over the world.
Concretely, a day at EuRA means:

- Discussing with peers about the state of the global mobility industry, immigration developments, political changes impacting mobility, operational challenges… and, of course, the food at the buffet and evening plans;
- Meeting providers, partners and clients;
- Attending conferences and workshops to better understand where the industry is heading and how our roles are evolving.

This year, Oui Immigration attended 27 meetings, exchanged around 250 business cards, reconnected with many long-term partners, met inspiring new peers from across the industry, attended numerous conferences… and definitely enjoyed the buffet.
But beyond the networking and business opportunities, we left Malta with something even more valuable: a broader perspective on what we do every day through corporate and individual immigration to France and globally.
The event reinforced the importance of our expertise in an increasingly uncertain world, while also reminding us that the questions, doubts and challenges we face are shared across the entire industry.
Several themes strongly emerged from the conferences and workshops:

- Diversification is becoming essential;
- We must continuously adapt to the evolving needs of our clients and leave behind outdated mobility patterns;
- AI will not replace our expertise — but professionals who adapt will clearly have an advantage.

The conference ended with a performance by Michelle Decerberg titled “The Success Energy Equation”. Between humour and reflection, one sentence particularly stayed with me:
“We do this not because it is easy, but because we thought it would be easy.”
As an entrepreneur in the global mobility industry today, I could not agree more… although I would probably add:
“And also because we genuinely love what we do.”
And honestly, EuRA is a wonderful reminder of exactly that!
