OUIDEA: China Immigration – New “K” Visa for Young STEM Talents

Since October 1, 2025, China has introduced a new K visa aimed at attracting young international talents in the Science – Technology – Engineering – Mathematics (STEM) fields.

Who is it for? Young graduates, early-career researchers, or tech entrepreneurs looking to work, teach, innovate, or conduct research in China.

Main Conditions

        • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM field, issued by a university recognized in China or internationally;
        • Be active in the field;
        • Estimated age: under 45 years old.

The Advantages

        • No job offer required;
        • Varied activities: research, work, innovation, conferences…;
        • Flexible duration: between 2 and 5 years, with multiple entries.
