For example, India and the United States require photos of a larger format (5x5cm), other countries require colored backgrounds.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In any case, you need original (on photo paper) and recent pictures!<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h6>\u200e \u200e \u200e \u200e \u200e \u200e \u200e \u200e \u200e \u200e \u200e \u200e \u200e \u200e \u200e \u200e \u200e \u200e \u200e \u200e \u200e \u200e \u200e \u200e \u200e \u200e \u200e \u200e \u200e \u200e \u200e \u200e \u200e \u200e \u200e \u200e \u200e \u200e \u200e<\/h6>\r\n<h6 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Bank statements\/payslips <\/strong><\/h6>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The purpose of providing these documents is twofold:<\/p>\r\n\r\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\r\n \t<li>Prove your links with your country of origin, in particular via a job (pay slips ), and reassure the authority that you will come back;<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Prove that you have enough financial resources not to depend on the host country in case of local problems.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Many countries, especially those in the Schengen area, require a minimum amount of money in the bank account to issue a visa.
